Package: git-buildpackage Version: 0.4.63 Severity: wishlist File: /usr/bin/git-dch
Hello, 90% of the time when i run "git-dch (-a -S)" my next command is "vi debian/changelog" to check what git-dch has just added, delete some commit log (need to remember to use Git-Dch: Ignore) and tweak some commit log when the way the git message is worded is not the best for the package changelog. It would be nice to have an option to open debian/changelog in $EDITOR like at the end of "git-dch -R" Thanks -- Xtophe -- System Information: Debian Release: squeeze/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (990, 'unstable'), (500, 'testing'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.32-trunk-686 (SMP w/1 CPU core) Locale: LANG=fr_FR.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=fr_FR.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages git-buildpackage depends on: ii devscripts 2.10.61 scripts to make the life of a Debi ii git-core 1:1.6.6-1 fast, scalable, distributed revisi ii python 2.5.4-5 An interactive high-level object-o ii python-dateutil 1.4.1-3 powerful extensions to the standar ii python-support 1.0.6 automated rebuilding support for P Versions of packages git-buildpackage recommends: ii pristine-tar 1.00 regenerate pristine tarballs Versions of packages git-buildpackage suggests: ii git-load-dirs 1.1.7 Import upstream archives into git -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
