Quite.  That's why my "home" machine has the lower-resolution display; that
was bought with dollars from my own pocket, not by my employer.  If I could
have found an 8710w at the price we got that one for I'd have bought one,
though - it was a $699 bargain from TigerDirect, plus upgrades to 4GB of
memory and a 500GB drive; I've since swapped out a questionable DVD burner
for a Blu-Ray one (although the new one doesn't have lightscribe capability,
and isn't quite as fast writing DVDs.  It writes Blu-Rays faster, though :-)
