I don't know much about the 100macro, but if you are thinking of doing 
macro with a 6x7, I suggest thinking about something else.
It's kinda/sorta doable, but it isn't pretty.
I'd just get the 105/2.4 instead.
FWIW, I have the 135/4 macro, and extension tubes, and the 6x7 bellows.

I used a Manfrotto 055 for a long time under the 6x7. I always thought 
it was a bit light weight though.
Vibration is NOT a problem with the 6x7 providing you use half a brain 
when shooting, and don't try to balance the camera on a toy tripod.
Use the mirror lock whenever possible.
