Matt -
I have a used Gitzo 1410 performance tripod that might fit the bill. This
version preceded the current Gitzo Classic Pro Studex MK2 #1410.
I've used it for 35mm photography with my 600mm FA.

It was used by a professional outdoor photog & I bought it from him several
years ago when I popped for a Gitzo 1548 CF tripod.

The 1410 is totally functional - I rebushed it when I got it.
Max support is rated @26#. It has a flat plate mounting (no center column)
with 1/4" X 20 thread.
Max height is 62.5 ". Three leg sections with wing nut type lock mechanism.

Let me know if you're interested.
