Just a note, this is not entirely correct I recall some people
mentioning this before. I've actually noticed it before as well although
I've not been particularly bothered by it. I also know one task which
makes me regularly switch to a different DE, recompiling E17 ;). I do
think that it can leave a bit of a bad impression for a user if he tries
out E but goes back to Gnome, resulting in him complaining on
some forum or the other about E not being ready... However I think this
is really _very_ low priority. BTW what is the way gnome/kde do this?
