Mark,

While not likely and if it has worked in the past then totally irrelevant; but,
I once had an issue with the network itself. If all else fails either try
pinging the name or contact your network people and ask them to confirm that
the relevant name has, in fact, been added to DNS. I suppose you could also try
putting the IP address in the url and seeing if this changes anything. Just
unlikely thoughts.

This is probably not your problem but just one more path to investigate. I did
happen to me once.

Tom

In the server config and ar.cfg it is server. It's pulling from somewhere or
building server.xyz.com

In Mid-Tier configuration there are 2 entries (server and server.xyz.com).
This is because having just one (either) causes similar errors. We've tried
every combination, no luck. Something is askew somewhere, and I don't know
where else to look.

Thanks,
Mark

What is the name of your server (is it server or server.xyz.com)?

**
We cannot seem to locate where Remedy stores the AR server name that it inserts
into the URL on a notification.

ARS 7.5
SQL Server
Windows OS

For example:

The URL in the email is something like this:

http://<webserve>...<ARServer>...12345

The ARServer is wrong, and doesn't work. We've tried the configuration form,
server configuration tab, etc, but no luck.

Anyone know where this is stored so we can correct it?

It is putting the full path server.xyz.com instead of just server.

Thanks,
Mark
