I had php4-apc installed for one day. Was unable to debug php scripts and
removed it. Make sure that you can reproduce your problem when php4-apc
extension is disabled.

White page means php errors. set PHP display_errors setting to 'on' and
error_reporting to E_ALL. Maybe then you will see error messages.
