Sorry for the delay. While testing the applied patch in fresh Ubuntu
15.04 machine, the issue seems to be half fixed and can be still
reproduced. After comparing the setup with old Ubuntu system, I found
that, while debugging I added RUN{builtin}+="uaccess" entry in
56-hpmud.rules file

1)Run in terminal : $ lsusb
(It will display one device as Hewlett-Packard.)
e.g. Bus 001 Device 002: ID 03f0:002a Hewlett-Packard
2) Now Run in teminal : $ lsusb -d 03f0:002a
2) $ lsusb -d 03f0:002a -v | grep bNumInterfaces(where
03f0:002a is VendorID:ProductID. Replace ProductID with correct value)

It looks like you are trying to print a secure pdf in linux.
Unfortunately secure/encrypted pdf printing is not supported by CUPS
(HPLIP uses cups) currently. Please try to convert the pdf to non secure

Thanks for the observations. No special changes were done in HPLIP
after 3.11.1 release for HP Color LaserJet 35xx/36xx printers. The only
patch which was applied was for ghostscript > 9.0 issue and which should
not affact above mentioned printers as they don't use RGBW col
