Hi, Thanks for providing the logs and info. error_log does not show any problem and I am able to print the prn file (hpcups_job19.out) generated by you by directly sending to a printer. I doubt something is wrong with the USB connection. Please do the following things to help me further analyze the issue.
1) Open Toolbox by using "hp-toolbox" command in terminal and then select correct printer in left side pan and then click on "Printer Control Tab" followed by "Set as default" option. 2)Open terminal and the run the following command(assuming printer in connected with USB and powered on). a) =>cat hpcups_job19.out > /dev/usb/lp0 (Please provide the correct path for out file) If command fails then use option (b) mentioned below. b) =>lpr -raw hpcups_job19.out ( hpcups_job19.out is the file attached by you. PLease provide the correct path for out file) 3) Capture and send the syslog output again(After disabling Apparmor). 4) Capture and send the output of "cd /usr/lib/cups/backend && sudo ./hp && lsusb " 5) Please connect the printer with network port and then do the setup as follows. =>Remove all the print queues as follows: => Open terminal and the run "hp-toolbox" command => Press on (-) button and then select all entries and press Remove. =>Add new Print Queue. => Open terminal and the run "hp-toolbox" command => Press on (+) button and then select "Network/Ethernet/Wireless Network(direct connection or jetdirect)" option. => Click on Show advanced options on the same page and then click on manual discovery. => Then give the IP address of your printer and then follow on screen instructions till the end. => Try to print now and let me know the result.
