evolution open. whenever i start vpnc, i get "formatting message ..."
even if i wait fo hours. evolution can't be closed regularly but has to
be killed.
i really wonder, why this is not bugging more people?!

Evolution hangs ~ every 30min with me now; I get "formatting message"
and nothing happens, as described by other users. Evolution must be
killed (try killing evolution data server, if restart does no work
either).
I've been using Evolution for five years now but I'll need to switch to

messages get formatted after killing the evolution-data-server(-2.24).

What I did today to force the gparted story and gethering informations:
As mentioned above I started using a Terminal typing "sudo gparted"
Than I started an other teminal, typing "top" and analysed what is going
on. Allway on top with 100% "blkid" has been shown together with the
process.ID, so
It seems to be solved - I do not knew why - I deleted the "first" (and
only) user with deluser - function and created a new one and the
authorization then was neccessary (input into the checkbox).

Same to me - independent of architecture (i386 / amd64) the login to
graphical desktop is stopping after selecting an user and typing (the
corect) password.
Downgrading to packages ...76-0ubuntu1 solves the problem, as well as to
