** Description changed:

  Binary package hint: libblkid1

  DISTRIB_ID=Ubuntu
  DISTRIB_RELEASE=9.10
  DISTRIB_CODENAME=karmic
  DISTRIB_DESCRIPTION="Ubuntu karmic (development branch)"

  Linux KARMIC-4G32 2.6.30-4-generic #5-Ubuntu SMP Fri May 8 13:20:48 UTC 2009
i686 GNU/Linux
  same with the kernel-2.6.30-2-generic!!

  Since updating the packages

  "libblkid1" to 2.15-1ubuntu1, "mount" to 2.15-1ubuntu1 & "util-linux" to
- 2.15-1ubuntu1
+ 2.15-1ubuntu1 and udev_141-1.x to udev_142-1

  gparted is no longer working. The application started via menu will show
  only "scaning all devices" - that's it and the cpu is working 100%.
  Stopping gparted by the close-button stops gparted, but cpu is working
  further more with 100% - only shut down the computer is ending this
  story.

  Starting gparted via terminal typing "sudo gparted" same as above,
  different is you can stopping the high cpu-performance after closing
  gparted by typing "Strg + C".

  Typing "sudo blkid" into a terminal (without further options) has shown
  in the past a total list of all partitions available, these is broken,
  too. Only by typing "sudo blkid with the option i.e. "/dev/sda1" will
  provide a correct output of the expected data.

  How can I help with appropriate log-files, the knowledge neccessary are
  not available.
