I got the same problem with my (german version of) Evolution 2.22.3.1-0ubuntu1.
1. When switching between emails in the message list, it occurs (from time to time) that 2. instead of the email message preview (ctrl + m) 3. you get the message "Nachricht wird formatiert ...". Switching to other messages or folders does not resolve the problem. You need to restart Evolution. This bug should be a duplicate of the english counterpart of the message "Nachricht wird formatiert".
