I am currently having the same issue with my MYTHLOGIC Dia 1614 Chassis (Clevo
P650Sx) machine.
Turns out the option I chose for a wireless card was the 'KILLER Wireless-AC
1525 2*2 802.11 ac/a/b/g/n + BT 4.0 350/867MB Total Bandwidth' as stated on the
site.
When typing command 'lspci -v' into

disconnects from the internet all the time. I even think it did
something to my Killer wireless in my Windows OS, because when I logged

toggling a few things in ccsm but no luck. Still having this problem.

Cinnamon on an Acer Aspire Laptop 64 bit. I am using psnup through the
package psutils 1.17-32. I have tried to set the output page size to -W
8.5 i -H 7 i. I have also tried to use -Plegal. I have tried various

"pci=noacpi" and adding the EnableBrightnessControl option almost
everything works like a charm for me: Almost - just the OSD of the
brightness control is shown but does not follow the brightness change -
but I can live with that...
Ok so along with the many things that this short sighted decision has
broken Kino is also broken now. NO Audio as /dev/dsp is non existent.
What a wonderful regression.Anyone know how to get Kino working ?

I am still having problems. HP Pavillion dv9000 with Nvidia MCP67. No

Argh! Sorry, I should have checked before!
When debugging it turned out that Ekiga was using another device for the
three events which I could not here.
So in Preferences: Audio: Devices I recognized that "Ringing Device" was
set to "SILENT (Ekiga/Ekiga)". After setting it to default it worked

None of the workarounds have fixed all my issues in talking to our
corporate MS exchange server. I give up. I am going back to Mozilla
Thunderbird. At least email/calendar works reliably. Evolution has
been hit or miss for me for the past 3 years and I doubt I am going to
be returning to it aga

I added the 2 lines to the file /etc/wgetrc :
http_proxy = http://10.0.0.2:3128/
ftp_proxy = http://10.0.0.2:3128/
I did a locate for "wgetrc" and found - /var/cache/flashplugin-installer/wgetrc
So I added those 2 lins in there aswell.
re-running the apt-get upgrade - seemed to then just
a...@me2 ~> sudo apt-get install flashplugin-installer

Same problem here with this Kernel. This problem shows up more
frequently on the faster systems here too. All the fast systems we
setup exhibit this problem intermittently see my post #158 above for
typical specs
