I just created my first data cd using mkisofs and cdrecord. I noticed
something that I don't understand. When I view the cd -- a backup of my
home directory -- on my Linux box, all the data seems to be in its proper
place, though a new directory, /rr_moved/, is created -- that is empty.

1) To re-write to a CD-RW drive, I gather you must use the blank=all
parameter. Must I issue this as a separate command like so before telling
cdrecord to write the image to the disk:

I have been trying to create a tar command that will only tar up those
files that have been modified in the last 24 hours. Following the man
pages and some examples in some Linux books, I tried, using gnu tar and
