Thanks. Indeed, I'm running 'testing'. Nevertheless, how does one find out about these changes? I don't remember how 'serpentine' got into my system instead of 'brasero'. If I try to remove 'serpentine' or if I try to install 'brasero', aptitude finds unmet dependencies and offers to remove 'gnome'
