Is there any news about packaging the last Scala version for Debian ?
I am willing to help with the packaging if necessary. I don't have a lot of
experience and can't find information about the specifics of the Scala
packaging team, but I am willing to learn !

So I booted the live USB again and:
1. scan and assemble the array
* mdadm --assemble --scan
2. mount /dev/md0 /mnt
3. mount /dev/sda1 /mnt/boot
4. mount -o bind /dev /mnt/dev
5. mount -o bind /sys /mnt/sys
6. mount -o bind /proc /mnt/proc
7. chroot /mnt
8. apt-get pur
I did a little investigation on this issue and found this [1] LKML
thread with the exact same problem on the exact same hardware.
The fixing commit can be found here [2], but it's still not pushed
upstream (as of 3.9.5).
