I have a 32-bit multiarch package that also includes Python scripts. The scripts don't need a 32-bit Python interpreter so the depend is 'python:any' as described on the Multi-Arch specification(*): https://wiki.ubuntu.com/MultiarchSpec#Extended_semantics_of_per-architecture_package_relationships But when I do that Lintian gives me this error: E: testany: python-script-but-no-python-dep usr/bin/pyhello If I remove the ':any' the error goes away. This leads me to conclude the Lintian gets confused when dependencies have architecture specifiers.
