Well, I guess Logitech QuickCam is a webcam and /dev/video0,
Chicony would be a USB keyboard.
There is no /dev/video1

No, xawtv 3.102-3 doesn't crash.  I use it almost everyday.

Interesting info.  As you might know the kernel (or my system 
in the whole) is from standard Debian/testing at present.
