The bug basically states that during migration from 1.4.x to 2.x, the
conversion of the mailbox data fails.
Does this affect upgrades from Evolution 1.0.5 as well? If not, it
simply /cannot/ be considered release critical, as 1.0.5 is the version

Hi,
just tried. No other package depends on "read-edid", so I removed it,
and booted on the installed "2.6.8-10.amd64-k8" kernel.
=> The behaviour is just the same, sorry. The log files appears to be
unchanged :
- the same "V_BIOS checksum error" in XFree86.0.log,
- the same message about vm86 and

First I updated libgnomeprintui2.2-common and libgnomeprintui2.2-0 to
2.8.2-2 (latest unstable) each, but that didn't help. Then I updated
libgnomecups1.0-1 to 0.2.0-2 (although I don't use any CUPS)
libgnomeprint-bin to 0.37-5
libgnomeprint-data to 0.37-5
libgnomeprint15 to 0.37-5

Hello Daniel,

After some digging, I found the difference:
