Hal Burgiss is providing a valuable service by providing the procmail rules. Many of us have very limited time to read the various lists - I subscribe to about a half-dozen Red hat or Linux-related lists and I need to be selective about which posts to reply to and which I'll defer to someone else. If I can avoid the posts that have a subject line of "test" or contain "out of office" than I can concentrate on those posts for which I may add value. I responded to this because I think I need to state that Hal is adding value to this list and I appreciate the work he's done. I haven't incorporated all his rules, but certainly have added a few. There is no retaliation involved. If subject lines are phrased such that the poster has shown respect for the reader, then it will pass the procmail rules that Hal's posted so far.
