Well yes, the AMD processors are kick-ass processors but there has been
some question as to compatiblity with RH. A friend of mine at work
purchased an AMD Athlon and Asus A7 motherboard and RH failed to load
properly. My equivelent Pentium III on an Asus CUSL2 runs fine (although
I had to buy ultra high grade memory to make the board work).
There has also been some question about the Thunderbirds and compatiblity.
Pentiums have never been a problem.
My choice for a motherboard would be ABIT or MSI.
