No, you can not use up2date to upgrade major versions. You will need a
7.0 CD, or a fast network connection and a 7.0 boot disk.

You shoul be able to do better then this. It sounds like you selected
multiple resulations, and you are getting the lowest one. Or you
selected the wrong monitor...
