maybe i will have to seek local expert, but it looks configured to me:
from cpanel --system-- devmgr-- network adapter
Intel(R) 100+ Management Adapter

properties
  devicestatus:
      Device is working properly

  device usage:
      exists inall hardware profiles

I think this is saying the nic is  configured

I may have an odd ball setup because of vmware:

here is a repeat of how I answered another respondent
regarding how i tried to setup the ipnumber, gw, netmask etc:

do you agree that the nic does look like it is configured?
if so, any further advice?
