Believe it or not, this is probably the simplest PPP scenario. The easiest
way to this would be to go into linuxconf, delete your existing ppp0
inetrface, and start a new one from scratch. From there, it's pretty much
like setting up a dialup connection in windows. Just say you want to use
PAP, provide a username, password and phone number, and save it.

you can select a checkbox to alow users to control the interface,
otherwise as root, just do ifup/ifdown ppp0 as usual
