I imported the gpg key and I can now install rpm's but I'm running AS 3.0 Beta. I didn't notice the version of up2date and rhn_register I was installing was for AS 2.1 which is MUCH older. Is there a version of up2date with the ssl expiration problem fixed for AS 3.0 Beta? Prior to "upgrading" up2date my version was up2date-3.9.12-1, after upgrading it is up2date-3.1.46-1.

I get this:

warning: rhn_register-2.8.34-1.2.1AS.i386.rpm: V3 DSA signature: NOKEY, key ID db42a60e

Hi,

You need to import the proper Redhat key, Check out:
http://www.redhat.com/solutions/security/news/publickey.html
The key you need is the one listed under "Package Signing".

If you install the latest up2date package you get the key you need. Note that installing the up2date rpm drops a copy of the current keys in the /usr/share/rhn directory.

If you end up having to do it by hand you use
"rpm --import <keyfile.txt>".

Running the command "rpm -q gpg-pubkey" will show you what keys you have installed currently.

Cheers,
Sean
