Sorry Alistair, and please don't confuse things for posters when they have already given the facts of the Mac models being used. Using an eMac is a totally different situation.

Paul's B&W G3 does NOT qualify for any "smart" ethernet connection. And has already been posted, he will need an AAUI-15 ethernet adapter AND a crossover cable to connect the 7100 AND the B&W.
