No need to bother with TCP/IP, if using AppleShare (Chooser & Finder) to
transfer files. Only needed if using FTP.
But otherwise spot on. I missed the original message that said Paul had
a NuBus Ethernet card. No need to look for a AAUI adapter then.
As for the idea about a SCSI transfer, I'm pretty sure that won't work
between two computers (bus controllers), except for some PowerBooks that
had a "SCSI Disk Mode" where you could make the computer appear as an
external hard drive to another machine. That's not available on any
desktop Mac, that I'm aware of.
