I want to transfer data from a 7100 Mac to a G3 blue & white tower.
Since the latter has no disk drive is it possible to do it with an
ethernet connection. (I have an ethernet card I can install in the
7100.) Or is there some other easy way?
I'd be interested in hearing from anyone who has done this type of
data transfer, as well as any suggestions you have.
Ethernet works well for this.. have done it between an iMac & a
9600-350 without problem.
btw, forgot to say you will need a "cross-over" cable, unless you have
a router.

cable" and where can I find one?and

FYI The 7100 has in-built ethernet (I can't remember if it requires
the Apple adapter or if it uses 10 BaseT though).
Eric.
Please tell me more about this. Thanks
