Sorry for the misunderstanding. To me your message looked like "I want to push
tomorrow".
With the precommit checks on GitHub: ignore them for now. It's not related to
Jenkins, not sure who set them up. I think Steve might know more about them.
They don't stop us from committing, at end we just have to make sure after
merge to disable the ant variants of it.
Jenkins at Apache changes anyways to new build infrastructure. I will try to
restructure jobs anyways (using pipelines or matrix builds). On policeman
Jenkins I will just disable jobs after merge and reconfigure them asap. For the
randomized JVM testing I needs some changes in Groovy scripts (doing
randomization). But that can be done short time. I would have changed to Gradle
already if the test runner JFK is useable.
About Eclipse: I will look into that the next days; my Sunday BBQ guests are
arriving soon... I may need some help: I need to collect all class paths of all
projects, merge them into one for the u er Eclipse project, and all source
directories. Then it's just a bit of magic to create the dot.classpath file. I
may only change it to create 2 eclipse projects: one for Lucene, one for Solr
with a dependency. With ant it's only one at moment.
