The employer may even sue if someone from the company has signed a disclaimer, on the basis that the disclaimer wasn't signed by someone who clearly wasn't authorized to make such statements on behalf of the organization (e.g., a dean at a typical German university). My understanding is that the employer disclaimer is mainly intended for protecting the contributor, and not the FSF.
