Patch Set 1: The preferred solution is to have correct versions for the released artifacts, and publish them in a public Maven repository. This means that right before doing the release we should do a commit removing the -SNAPSHOT suffix from all the POMs. This commit should be tagged with the release number. The build should be done from this tag. Immediately after that we should do another commit increasing the version in all the POMs and adding again the -SNAPSHOT suffix.
