This is my config (some mirrors and addresses were renamed because of privacy/security reasons): cache_dir=/var/cache/apt-cacher [EMAIL PROTECTED] daemon_port=3142 group=www-data user=www-data daemon_addr=0.0.0.0 allowed_hosts=10.110.0.0-10.120.0.0 denied_hosts= allowed_hosts_6=fec0::/16 denied_hosts_6= allowed_locations=ftp.us.debian.org # ,... generate_reports=1 clean_cache=1 offline_mode=0 logdir=/var/log/apt-cacher expire_hours=0.2 #http_proxy=proxy.example.com:8080 use_proxy=0 #http_proxy_auth=proxyuser:proxypass use_proxy_auth=0 limit=0 debug=0 checksum=1 #cgi_advise_to_use = Please use http://cacheserver:3142/ as apt-cacher access URL #cgi_advise_to_use = Server relocated. To change sources.list, run perl -pe "s,/apt-cacher\??,:3142," -i /etc/apt/sources.list Any request through the mirror failed (the request was being sent to apt-cacher but a response was never received). I've already installed libberkeleydb-perl. Is it of any use to say that I had checksumming enabled before upgrading to the latest version? :) > > > Is there anything I can do to provide more/useful information so this > problem > > is fixed? > > It is difficult if it is not reproducible. If you can reproduce it, > turn on debugging and send me error.log Right now trying to use apt-cacher is completely useless, nothing is received. I just turned debug=1 and 'restarted' (I had to SIGKILL the processes because not even after 20 SIGTERMs in a period of five minutes stopped them) apt-cacher, but neither access.log nor error.log log anything now (turning debug=0 doesn't make any difference), it just doesn't work at all. > > Mark > Sincerely, -- Atomo64 - Raphael Please avoid sending me Word, PowerPoint or Excel attachments.
