In its current form, this is not an Ubuntu bug because you are using an
unsupported kernel. As comment #2 suggests, you should probably revert
to the standard Ubuntu kernel so that you can report bugs AND so that
you can install a working Nvidia driver.

Resolution set to default and no audio on standard propriatery, tested
driver. Switching to x org in additional drivers results in frequent
