I think everybody's gmail tab takes a while to load. Don't know exactly why, but it's probably because of the gmail server (they have a lot of data!) and because of security checks. Launchpad also takes longer to load because it's a secure connection. So I'm not sure if this is a valid bug report,

I am not a lawyer but I think that Dell is responsible here. Ubuntu usually installs flawlessly if you do it yourself from a live CD or a USB flash drive.
