Most probably you are right, that it is an invalid bug report. After I
reinstalled Ubuntu just a few days ago many issues which I've reported
as bugs actually has appeared to be upgrade issues or issues of unknown
heritage.
(I formatted the hard disks and installed Ubuntu Alternate 9.10.)
After formatting and reinstalling Ubuntu, mobile broadband reconnect
works. The upgrade process didn't work properly and there are some other

I have a similar problem.
After each movie I play, exit Movie Player, and then again try to play a
movie I get the no sound. The pictures of the movie are shown, but not
smoothly.
If I remove ~/.gstreamer-0.10/registry.i486.bin before I start the
second time, the sound comes back.

passwords are forgotten in a very reproducible way. This happens if you
have three or more disks to be unlocked and mounted.

with the file tested.

This zip file can't be transferred.

When the speed of data with a usb disk device is too high, the probes
that check if the disk still exists is missed. This makes the disk to be
unmounted and is remounted with an other drive letter (/dev/sdX). If
this disk is the root ("/"), the computer hangs.
