The mobile broadband connection becomes better for each update, thank
you!

Here comes another issue related to the previous ones:

All of sudden Ubuntu couldn't connect through the mobile Internet
connection. Firefox and Thunderbird said "ConnectING to ..." and nothing
more. I tried several times and no response. The connection was still
connected or at least not disconnected (or so it said).

I disconnected the mobile Internet connection by pressing "Disconnect"
with the mouse pointer. Then I tried to connect again. The first times I
just got the circular animation and no green bulbs. After some tries I
got the circular animation and both the green light bulbs. Ubuntu said
disconnected also after trying several times with both the green light
bulbs.

After I restarted the computer I was able to connect again.

I would guess that the connection was still active when I was unable to
connect at first, but some software issues in the mobile broadband
hardware interface didn't let the "connecting to" through and when I
tried to connect again (when getting the light bulbs was showed) it
didn't get a sever needed to connect.

Linux ubuntu 2.6.28-15-generic #49-Ubuntu SMP Tue Aug 18 18:40:08 UTC
2009 i686 GNU/Linux
