I finally solved my problem thanks to the description found in #204578.
Actually this entry is a duplicate of it.

That is a no-go for me. Clearing the stream is one of the most important
features. I don't want to search everytime up to where I did read my stream. At
least Gwibber should save the position otherwise.

I installed this kernel and booted it. Fan was running normal unless I
suspended & resumed. After it, the same problem happens again. So no,

Until last weekend, I've never had this issue (using kernel 4.8.x) but
today on 4.10.0-27-generic this happened twice to me!

I have exactly the same problem with linux-image-4.10.0-27-generic
(4.10.0-27.30~16.04.2) which was installed recently into Ubuntu 16.04
via linux-image-generic-hwe-16.04.
The problem only occurs after suspend and can be reproduced. With the
previous 4.8.0 kernel this did not occur.
