I opened the xfce4-mixer program from the terminal to make sure i got
the command name correct, and when I click the Close button (not the
Quit button), i get the following message in the terminal:

I don't have a proxy set, and It crashed right after I booted up
yesterday. So far it's running without a hitch, but the last couple of
times I started up before I submitted a bug report it crashed either

After thinking it was a problem with Gnomecc, I reverted everything back
to normal, and then the desktop freaked out, going from a gray color
without icons to a black desktop with icons. It did this about 20 times
until the desktop, I assume, crashed. I have a picture attached.
