I confirm that this is an issue. English desktop but Swedish locale
settings are indeed common here. I have always been setting LC_TIME for
my session for achieving this but that is of course hard for a new user
to know.

I downloaded the Dapper version of xserver-xorg-core (1.0.2-0ubuntu10.1)
to my Edgy system and it worked for me. It has by the way always worked
for me on my system since breezy and I seem to have my graphics card on
an other pci domain. However, version 1:1.1.1-0ubuntu5 -
1:1.1.1-0ubuntu7 in Edgy
I tried to disable 011_fedora_pci_scan_fixes.patch but instead add
pci_domain.diff (the one Ben attached) but it didn't work for me on my
machine. Must be some other change from 1:1.1.1-0ubuntu4 to
1:1.1.1-0ubuntu5 that stopped scanpci from finding all devices.
I also notified that 1:1.1.1-0ubuntu
Just for clarification, it is the patch 011_fedora_pci_scan_fixes.patch
that prevents X from finding all devices. Have tried to remove
011_fedora_pci_scan_fixes.patch from xserver-xorg-core 1.1.1-0ubuntu9
and recompiled it, scanpci then found all my devices.

For the Ubuntu CDs/DVDs to be able to boot on machines like the Pegasos
which are chrp machines but can't run yaboot it is necessary to have
compressed kernel with the initrd in the same file. Such a file can for
example be generated with mkvmlinuz from a vmlinux and initrd.gz
Unfortunately no firmware for Pegasos with yaboot support is possible to
download from anywhere. And I don't expect any new version of the
firmware to be released soon.
Would be really good if you could include the kernel on the DVD. Please
let me know as soon as the DVD builds. If I can be of any

I had a theory yesterday when I posted this bug and I just verified it.
This crash only occurs when running multiple desktops. I have an NVIDIA
card and have my computer attached to the TV. I run two separate X
screens configured with nvidia-settings. With this setup nautilus
crashes all the time.
Ok, tested with TwinView and it works. So same two screens and same
resolution (1680x1050, 1920x1080) on both configurations - separate X
screens crashes nautilus while TwinView doesn't.
Please let me know if I can provide any more informations.

has disappeared. My old installation was really old and had been

The problem seems to be that the version of cdrdao (in Maverick at
least) is too old. The available cdrdao is version 1:1.2.2-18.2ubuntu1
but cdrdao 1.2.3 is required for brasero. cdrdao 1.2.3 is already
uploaded in Debian testing so we should be able to simply resync it
