Yes, it does. I think those files are taken from the current Debian kernel. I made a diff between the files in mkvmlinuz and the files from the current edgy 2.6.17 kernel and they are all the same. It works for now, and will probably also work in the future it the Ubuntu kernel and the Debian kernel are relatively synced.
