Just for clarification, it is the patch 011_fedora_pci_scan_fixes.patch that prevents X from finding all devices. Have tried to remove 011_fedora_pci_scan_fixes.patch from xserver-xorg-core 1.1.1-0ubuntu9 and recompiled it, scanpci then found all my devices.
