I just mounted and unmounted the same encrypted drive via the gnome-
mount system. This bug was *not* reproduced in that case.
I was also unable to reproduce this bug via manual-mounting on the CLI
with cryptsetup.

After a fresh installation I tried to mount a luks encrypted external
USB drive. gnome loads the passphrase prompt display but then fails to
mount because cryptsetup is not installed. Perhaps the gnome mount
system should suggest "The cryptsetup tool is required to mount thi
if mounting by volumeid is not supported in dapper I'm sure mounting by
LABEL is. Perhaps a simple utility to set labels and update the
/etc/fstab to use LABEL= for the transition. I can try to hack
something together..

Navigating to a .bz2 file in Firefox I am prompted to open it with
Archive Manager, which works properly the first time.
Closing that window and re-addressing the link again prompts for opening
with Archive Manager but then displays a .1.

I recently applied available updates via the Mac OSX partiton on my
machine and my battery life in Ubuntu is nearly half-hour longer. I
have not directly compared battery times but in Ubuntu my battery lasts
nearly three hours pretty consistently.
I am using the 2.6.20-16-generic kernel (Feisty)
Thanks taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu

I just tried the Tribe 2 release (alternate) and I still have the same
issue. Any info you need on hardware, logs, etc please let me know.

Ever since upgrading to v6.10 I am not able to actually reboot my
machine. I get the same result whether using 'reboot' at the command
line or using the reboot menu option.

If I keep my USB mouse plugged into my eMachines M5312 at boot-time the
audio goes into a repetitive playback and gnome / nautilus do not
completely load. If the USB mouse is connected after gnome completes
loading everything works fine. It seems having the mouse connected a
closing ticket based on latest feedback regarding jaunty vs karmic boot
services.
