Public bug reported: After a fresh installation of Ubuntu 7.04 (including all updates available from all standard repositories) hibernation does not resume correctly. The machine will go down on hibernate but resuming with the power button leaves the machine inoperable. Applications will not launch, network connectivity is lost and even shortcuts like (ctrl-alt- bkspace) do nothing.
