Public bug reported: Binary package hint: ssh-askpass-gnome
I am using ssh-askpass-gnome to graphically manage my keys. Upon first connection the graphical window opens to prompt for the passphrase but it does not get the input focus, so the key entry is put into the terminal behind it. ssh-askpass-gnome should have the input focus by default. system info: uname -a: Linux macbook 2.6.24-8-generic #1 SMP Thu Feb 14 20:40:45 UTC 2008 i686 GNU/Linux cat /etc/lsb-release: DISTRIB_ID=Ubuntu DISTRIB_RELEASE=8.04 DISTRIB_CODENAME=hardy DISTRIB_DESCRIPTION="Ubuntu hardy (development branch)" dpkg -l ssh-askpass-gnome: ii ssh-askpass-gnome 1:4.7p1-4ubuntu1 interactive X program to prompt users for a passphrase for ssh-add ** Affects: ssh-askpass (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: Confirmed -- [hardy alpha 4] ssh-askpass-gnome does not take focus https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/194522 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
