Binary package hint: xorg-driver-fglrx
Package xorg-driver-fglrx_7.1.0-8.28.8+2.6.17.5-11_i386.deb works just fine
with my video card (recognized as an ATI Radeon 9200 SE ("RV280")). After
upgrading to xorg-driver-fglrx_7.1.0-8.30.3+2.6.19.1-1_i386.deb, I get this

Hmm. I just woke up to a hung system, even though I disabled all GL screensaver
hacks. Must have been ZSNES then (it was in one of the OGL modes).
Guess I'll have to disable 3D accelleration altogether again :( Darn, just when

Thanks so much for figuring out how to fix this problem! I've been stuck
with a 2.6.15 kernel for ages now because of this problem.

Yep, Epiphany has the same problem. It opens the file
/usr/share/X11/locale/en_US.UTF-8/Compose a gazillion times (once for
every link clicked I think?) and then crashes. The gdb backtrace is much
larger this time, so I attached it.
Oh, and another thing I noticed is that my /tmp directory contain

After using Galeon some time (an hour or so? sometimes shorter if I do a
