Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gimp
In Gnome, I can select additional styles such as Bold and Italic on kana fonts. I also have the xfonts-efont-unicode-ib package installed which explicitly provides bold/italic versions of some kana fonts. The Gimp however doesn't give me the option of setting Bold or Italic on kana fonts in the Text Tool box. I think this is a bug. Why doesn't the Gimp use the standard Gnome font selection dialog anyway? Having to type the name and style manually instead of selecting them from a list is kinda cumbersome. ** Affects: gimp (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Doesn't allow bold/italic selection on Japanese fonts https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/207700 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
