- The xsane gui offers scan resolutions up to 9600 dpi
- No compression artefacts, tested with 1200 dpi

folders on Google Drive. So I debugged the issue and finally found that
this problem is created by the "Enable Right Click and Copy" plugin.
That plugin seems anyway to be out of date so I removed it. Should get

items from the drop down menus could not be selected with the mouse
until recently.

This annoying bug affected all upgrades to Bionic and Cosmic Cuttlefish
I did so far and also effects Cosmic Cuttlefish. systemd-resolv and
dnsmasq consume each 100% CPU and internet access becomes extremely
slow.
My latest workaround is to disable automatic overwriting to
/etc/resolf.conf with su

I've only one encrypted device, but since upgrade to Ubuntu 16.04 Xenial
my machine fails to mount it and stops booting. After entering the
password for the device, the system just displays: "After login in, type
"journalctl -xb" to view system logs". Booting can be resumed by hitting

The minimum zoom level is annoying, too. The current minimum zoom level
is 10%, which makes it impossible to display high resolution pdf on a
single screen width. This effects PDFs produced from scans where the
density was set to a wrong value, i.e. a 600dpi scan labelled as 75dpi.
