Apparently, the problem still persists on some sites, like creating new folders on Google Drive. So I debugged the issue and finally found that this problem is created by the "Enable Right Click and Copy" plugin. That plugin seems anyway to be out of date so I removed it. Should get used to checking plugins before reporting a problem. Thx
