updates. Doing a regular apt-get dist-upgrade works fine and marks the
new kernel packages as automatically installed. Using the update-manager

Resetting my launcher favorites using the gsettings command brings back

My theory is that when mumble is started without a valid connection
that's up, it won't show that log message and thus will fail to connect
