Also experiencing this on Ubuntu 14.04. It's much easier to reproduce the longer you leave the computer in hibernation. I usually can't reproduce if I hibernate for a few minutes and then resume, but if I hibernate overnight and resume the next morning, this bug almost always occurs. Doing a sudo service network-manager restart works around it, but is annoying.
